Li Qingyong, Ph.D., professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Computer and Information Technology, Beijing Jiaotong University. He is also a director of Association of Fundamental Computing Education in Chinese Universities, and a member of Artificial Intelligence & Pattern Recognition of China Computer Federation.
His main research direction is artificial intelligence and intelligent transportation. He has presided over/participated in more than 20 projects including the Key R&D projects the Ministry of Science and Technology, projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, provincial and ministerial-level scientific research projects, and enterprise joint research and development projects. In authoritative international journals such as IEEE Trans, he published more than 80 academic papers at top international conferences such as SIGKDD, AAAI, ICDM. More than ten national patents have been applied for/authorized, and some of them have been selected as major scientific and technological achievements of the National Railway Administration. They have won the Jeme Tienyow Railway Science and Technology Award Special Award and the second prize of the China Railway Society Science and Technology Award (ranked first). He has instructed Beijing Jiaotong University team to advance to the global finals 5 times and won the ranking certificate in the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest. He presided over the national first-class online undergraduate courses and won the second prize of the National Teaching Achievement Award, and the first special prize of Beijing Teaching Achievement Award. He has Won honors and awards such as Beijing Youth Teaching Teacher, IBM Faculty Award, and Beijing Youth Post Expert.
