  • Introduction

Wen Yinghong, a Ph.D., is a second-level professor and doctoral supervisor of Transportation Engineering of School of Electronic and Information Engineering in Beijing Jiaotong University. She is the current chairman of the IEEE China Council, the supervisor of the second and third supervisory boards of the Chinese Institute of Electronics, the chairman of Commission E of the URSI China Committee, and the vice director of the Electromagnetic Compatibility. She served as Associate Editor of IEEE AP Magazine.

She was selected into the National "Ten Thousand Talents Program" Science and Technology Innovation Leading Talent, and won the title of Youth Science and Technology Innovation Leading Talent in the Innovative Talent Promotion Plan. She won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award, China Youth Science and Technology Award, Jeme Tienyow Railway Science and Technology Contribution Award, Mao Yisheng Railway Science and Technology Award, and China Railway Society Science and Technology Progress Award.

She is the academic leader in the subject of electromagnetic compatibility. She is engaged in the teaching of electromagnetic fields and electromagnetic waves, antennas and radio wave propagation, electromagnetic compatibility theory, as well as the research of electromagnetic compatibility theory and engineering application technology of rail transit systems. She presides over national, provincial and ministerial key research and development projects, national natural science fund projects and joint enterprise research and development projects, etc., mainly conducting in-depth system research on the electromagnetic compatibility and electromagnetic interference protection technology of the whole train and signal system of our country's high-speed railway EMUs. The electromagnetic interference protection technology she proposed solves the problem of EMU and signal system failures caused by electromagnetic interference on multiple high-speed rail operating lines.
