Zhang Xingchen

Deputy Director of School Affairs Committee of Beijing Jiaotong University, Dean of Jeme Tienyow Honors College, Dean of Rail Transit Industry Education Research Institute, Director of Center of Research in Higher Education of Engineering

Zhang Xingchen was born in September 1960. He is a Ph.D. in Engineering. He obtained his doctorate degree in transportation management engineering. He is a second-level professor of transportation engineering, a responsible professor of transportation engineering of Beijing Jiaotong University, a famous teacher of the National Ten Thousand Talents Program, the winner of Special government allowances of the State Council.

He once served as the Vice President of Beijing Jiaotong University, the Deputy Director of the School Affairs Committee of Beijing Jiaotong University, the Dean of Rail Transit Industry Education Research Institute, and the Director of Center of Research in Higher Education of Engineering.

He is currently a member of the Undergraduate Education Evaluation Expert Committee of General Colleges and Universities of the Ministry of Education, the Director of the Transportation Professional Teaching Committee of the Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, the Director of the Transportation Professional Committee of the China Engineering Education Accreditation Association, and the Director of the Transportation Professional Committee of the Self-study Examination Committee of the Ministry of Education, the Vice Chairman of China Transportation Education Research Association and Chairman of the Dean Branch, Vice Chairman of China Association of Labor Economics, Independent Director of Beijing-Shanghai High Speed Railway Co., Ltd.

He undertook more than 40 key projects of Natural Science Foundation, National 863 Project, National Education Reform Pilot Project, published more than 100 academic papers, won 1 First Prize and 2 Second Prizes of National Teaching Achievement Award, 1 Special Prize and 5 First Prizes of Beijing Teaching Achievement Award.
