　　The ninth session of “Afternoon Tea” of Jeme Tienyow Honors College was held on the afternoon of November 26 at Siyuan Time Cafe, Beijing Jiaotong University. In this afternoon tea, Professor Gou Juanqiong of the School of Economics and Management and Professor Zhang Xiaodong of the School of Traffic and Transportation were invited to participate in this themed activity. Teachers representatives from Jeme Tienyow Honors College and more than 30 students participated in this activity. Classmate Wang Jingyuan of Tianyou 2001 Class served as the host of this issue.

　　Two students Xu Jiayang and Liu Tianyu from Tianyou 2003 Class paid “tribute to the academic instructor” with a song written and adapted by the students themselves, which kicked off the prelude to the activity.

　　Professor Gou Juanqiong shared the theme of "Multidisciplinary Integration in Digital Innovation" by introducing from his own experience and introduced the importance of interdisciplinary. From the perspective of artificial intelligence, she introduced the complexity and uncertainty of digital innovation in depth and encouraged students to attach importance to the value of data and dig out the stories behind the data. Professor Gou Juanqiong combined the transformation of time and space, used AI to connect with today's society, and explained the profound things in a simple way, which aroused the great interest of students in scientific exploration.

　　Professor Zhang Xiaodong started with three videos and cited logistics in the epidemic to share the theme of "Into Transport and Logistics". Through humorous language and interaction with the students, Professor Zhang gave the students a deeper understanding of the field of transportation and a more detailed understanding of the logistics system.

　　During the exchange session, students enthusiastically asked questions. They not only asked the teacher about modeling related issues, but also asked the teacher about related logistics issues around them. The two teachers took the questions from the students as the guide, telling them the questions of "changes and changes in the new era" and "doing one line and loving one line or loving one line and doing one line", and made suggestions for the students' future choices.
